Why Season 2 of "Cedar in Antarctica" Has ROCKED
Because I'm loving life right now.
-
I crawled into a glacial ice cave
-
I'm not a FNG anymore - I know things, and I know PEOPLE
-
I got to see the icebreaker crushing ice up close from the ice pier - AWESOME!
-
I saw a penguin following the icebreaker around
-
I FINALLY made it out to Castle Rock
-
I finally went SNOWBOARDING in Antarctica
-
I learned that I love rugby by attending an international rugby match on an ice shelf
-
I got to ride on a sled behind a Challenger to get to the rugby match
-
I'm a line handler - I moor ships when they come in to the ice pier
-
Line handler means a pager - friends can page me anytime!
-
I was the bowling POC - always had a key to the alley...
-
I hung out with Howard in Antarctica
-
I went 4X'ing through the transition in a wheeled vehicle (not allowed!) - went through thigh-deep ice-water puddles!
-
I DON'T work in the Galley
-
And the pinacle of my season: next week I will take a HELICOPTER ride out to Marble Point and finally set foot on the actual CONTINENT OF ANTARCTICA!
